Beecroft Junior Chess Club
What:
A place to learn how to play chess.
A place to improve your chess skills and become a better chess player.
A place to practice your chess against other players around your own age.
A place to play friendly competitive chess games.
Format:
Children will be put in small groups based on their knowledge and skill in chess. They will get a group lesson (which will differ depending on their ability!), and will then be given time to practice against other children in the club. All children who are competent and confident with the rules of chess will play in a ladder style competition, with trophies awarded at the end of each term.
Who can attend:
Anyone under the age of 18 who is interested in chess.
When:
Wednesday afternoons during the school term.
4:45pm - 6:15pm

Beecroft Bowling Club
Copeland Road (near corner of Beecroft Road)

(Approximately 200m from station & shops, and backs onto Beecroft Public School)

Term 1: Wed 3rd February - 31st March (9 weeks) Cost: $135
Term 2: Wed 21st April - 30th June (11 weeks) Cost: $165
Term 3: Wed 21st July - 22nd September (10 weeks) Cost: $150
Term 4: Wed 13th October - 15th December (10 weeks) Cost: $150
