Inner West Chess Challenge 7

Venue: Sydney Latvian Society Club
32 Parnell Street Strathfield
(2 minutes walk from Strathfield Station)

Cost: $20

Time: Registration is at 8:45am on the day of the tournament. Round 1 begins at 9.30am.
Prize giving will commence at approximately 3:00pm. There will be a lunch break at 12:30pm as well as short breaks in between the rounds.

Format: This tournament is an individual event not a team event. The tournament is restricted to players under the age of 18 years of age.
Each tournament is a 7 round 'Swiss' competition. This means that all players play 7 games (no-one is 'knocked out' of the tournament.
The time limit is 15 minutes per player per game. This tournament will be JCL rated.

Prizes: Trophies given to 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th place as well as age performance trophies in the following age groups:
Best 12 Years and Under, Best 11 Years and Under, Best 10 Years and Under, Best 9 Years and Under,
Best 8 Years and Under, Best 7 Years and Under, and Best 6 Years and Under. (Players are only eligible for one prize).
All participants will receive a participation certificate.

To enter: Send the attached form along with a cheque or internet banking receipt (NO cash payments) to Sydney Academy of Chess, PO Box 1325, Burwood NSW 2135.
Please note that you must send payment with your entry for it to be accepted. Entries are due by Friday 24th September, 2010.
