NSW Interschool Girl's Teams Chess Challenge
Date: Thursday 5th August, 2010
Venue: Sydney Latvian Society Club
32 Parnell Street Strathfield (2 minutes walk from Strathfield Station)
Time: 9.30am – 2.30pm (Registration is at 9am)
Eligibility: Teams consist of three players. Co-ed schools may enter with all girl teams.
There will be four divisions:
• Rookies up to and including Year 4
• Primary up to and including Year 6
• Junior up to and including Year 8
• Open open to all players
Format: The tournament will be a 5-round Swiss. Games will be played under the official rules of chess - touch move and touch take apply.
Participants will use a chess clock with a time limit of 20 minutes per player for the whole game.
Instruction on the use of chess clocks will be given on the day.

Lunch: Please bring your own!
Entry Fee: $33 per team (GST inclusive).
Please make cheques payable to Sydney Academy of Chess.
